Insider policy
BackElisa conforms to the guidelines for insiders issued by the Helsinki Stock Exchange, effective from 9 October 2009. The guidelines recommend that insiders should time the trading of a company's securities appropriately so that market information regarding the factors influencing the value of securities is as comprehensive as possible. Elisa's permanent insiders include, in accordance with the Finnish Securities Market Act, and by virtue of their positions, the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Board, the members of the Board, the President and CEO, the auditor, the deputy auditor and the employee of the audit organization who has the main responsibility for the audit of the company’s accounts. In addition to the abovementioned, Elisa insiders with the reporting requirement include the members of the company's Management Team. Elisa securities held by insiders with the reporting requirement, including their family members, are considered public information.
Elisa's insider register is maintained by the Euroclear Finland Ltd.Information concerning the holdings of permanent insiders is available at the Euroclear Finland Ltd's office (Urho Kekkosen katu 5 C, 8th floor, Helsinki) as well as on the company’s website.
Elisa's website is continually updated with information concerning the holdings of Elisa's securities, whether gained directly or through an authority organization, by the persons considered as public insiders as well as the holdings of minors related to insiders.
