BackElisa's view on Ficora's decision on the local loop wholesale pricing
Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) has issued a decision on pricing local loop access - Elisa considers this a fundamentally unsustainable, illogical and unlawful.
Ficora has issued a decision today on Elisa's copper based local loop wholesale pricing.
Ficora has decided that the monthly pricing for local loop and switching charges are not in accordance with the Communications Market Act.
Ficora's decision of the new cost accounting principles are unbusinesslike inadequately prepared. Ficora's new cost accounting principles differ radically from the instructions that Ficora has given to the operators earlier. In Elisa's view the new Ficora accounting principles are unlawful.
Elisa will seek interruption of the enforcement and apply the decision to the Supreme Administrative Court.
