BackSaunalahti is the first operator to provide prepaid Internet connections

From now on, you can purchase prepaid mobile broadband from Saunalahti. This is the first actual broadband subscription which is intended for using the Internet with a dongle attached to the computer, and which you can obtain in advance by making a cash payment.
The Saunalahti prepaid mobile broadband service package is intended for customers who appreciate freedom.
- Through its Saunalahti brand, Elisa wants to offer a new way to obtain an online connection. The target group of the service package consists of all customer groups looking for flexibility and an approach without a contract – there are a lot of such customers, from tourists to frequently-moving students. The service package is easy to adopt and it also has a good price/quality ratio. Freedom does not cost extra, says Panu Lehti, product director at Elisa.
The price of the prepaid service package is EUR 79. The price includes a dongle and a value voucher entitling the purchaser to unrestricted data transfer for one month. You can conveniently activate the included value voucher with a text message. The customer will receive a text message notification when the validity is near expiration. After this, you purchase usage time based on the usual prepaid principle. For further use, you can load more balance to the subscription at www.saunalahti.fi, from Otto. cash dispensers or any R-kioski outlet in Finland.
- Further use of the service package is available as a week package, which costs EUR 6.90. This includes unrestricted data transfer for one week. We have selected a relatively short access time of one week, since we have found that our customers highly appreciate flexibility. The prepaid subscription can be used very freely and further use can be obtained to meet your needs, says Lehti.
As an alternative to the week package, Internet use is charged based on the data transferred, one megabyte transferred costing EUR 1.5.
The service package includes the Nettitikku E160E dongle, which is used for other Saunalahti subscriptions. The customer also receives a Saunalahti Prepaid start-up package, that is, a regular prepaid mobile phone subscription. At first, the Saunalahti prepaid mobile broadband service package will be available at Elisa Shopit stores around Finland, and also via other representatives later.
