BackInternational collaboration solution for global companies is added to Elisa's virtual meeting selection

Elisa provides Finland's most comprehensive virtual collaboration solution selection, from instant communication to virtual meeting rooms. A cooperation agreement with Tandberg Telecom AS now also enables even more flexible and cost-efficient international interaction tools for organisations with global operations.
Before this, in Finland, there have not been any comprehensive collaboration solutions available for global companies. Now, as the first company in Finland, we can provide our customers with diverse options for international communication as a service.
The virtual meeting solutions are based on Tandberg's visual communication technology, and the advantages of the solutions include an open system and flexibility to meet various needs, as well as integration opportunities with other systems and tools.
- In practice, Tandberg's virtual meeting products are always carried along with telephones. This means that people all around the world can arrange mutual virtual meetings from their personal workstations or mobile phones. In a flexible way, our customers can also utilise their previous investments with regard to instant communication solutions, for example, and seamlessly include them as part of Tandberg's solution, says Mika Railosalo, head of Elisa's virtual meeting services.

Virtual tools bring more efficiency and productivity

Through the feature, users can send messages to one or more users at the same time. The participants to the conversation see the text entered by others in real-time.
Elisa Etäneuvotteluhuone TelePresence is a high-quality virtual meeting room, based on the latest technology and built in the customer's premises. The solution is suitable for enterprises with several offices at long distances. This means that negotiations can be carried out almost face-to-face by using modern meeting rooms – the large, high-quality screens and audio of the rooms create the impression that the other party is at the same table, regardless of the distance.
