BackA new music service offers a total of 6 million songs for Saunalahti customers

Nokia's Comes With Music phones, introduced on 26 November, will give Saunalahti customers the opportunity for free-of-charge, unrestricted downloads of music from a selection of six million songs. As a Saunalahti customer, service user does not have to pay for data transfer, since the mobile broadband included in the new Saunalahti Musiikilla service is free to use for the first 12 months.
- As a result of the service provided by Saunalahti, users can download songs to their mobile phone or computer free-of-charge all around Finland, thanks to the free mobile broadband included in the service. The range includes over six million songs by hundreds of thousands artists, which means that the offering is very comprehensive. Even if the user would listen to music 24/7 every day throughout the year, he or she would only have scratched the surface of the wide range of music brought by the service, says Turkka Koivu, Head of Department at Elisa.
With the Saunalahti Musiikilla service, the customer gets unrestricted download access to over six million songs for 12 months. The music can be downloaded anywhere, on a mobile phone or a computer. As a result of the free-of-charge mobile broadband, the data transfers required for the song downloads are free in Finland. Also after the 12-month period has expired, the customer can freely use the downloaded songs. The new music service is available from Saunalahti to Nokia phone models X6 CWM, N97 mini CWM and 5630 CWM.
- We foresee massive success for the service. The songs being free to download through mobile broadband is also unique at the international level and it will also definitely increase music listening and use among entirely new target groups, says Koivu.
