Jippii Results in Sanctions of EUR 285,000

STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 28 MAY 2009 AT 10.22 am

The Court of Appeal of Helsinki has today rendered its verdict in the proceedings concerning the stock exchange disclosures of the Jippii Group in 2001. The Court has ordered the company to pay a corporate fine of EUR 200,000 and a forfeiture of EUR 85,000 concerning the events of 2001. The prosecutor had requested that a corporate fine of EUR 800,000 and a forfeiture of approximately EUR 215,000 be imposed on Elisa's subsidiary Saunalahti Group Oyj.

Due to the judgement Jukka Peltola has informed his resignation from the company including his membership of the corporate executive board. Panu Lehti has informed his resignation from the membership of the corporate executive board. Panu Lehti will continue to work for company.
